Office Refurbishment for Border Force
Our team carried out a full office refurbishment for the Border Force Offices, creating a more efficient and comfortable working environment. The upgrade included modernised layouts, improved lighting, and high-quality finishes — all designed to meet the demands of a busy operational team.
Toilet Refurbishment
Ilex Group also completed a full refurbishment of the main public toilets — including male, female, and accessible facilities. The result is a cleaner, brighter, and more durable space for visitors, built to withstand high footfall while maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
Driver Facilities: Washrooms, Gym and Breakout Area
A key part of the project involved transforming the Driver Facilities. We refurbished the washrooms, gym, and breakout area, creating comfortable, well-equipped spaces that support rest and wellbeing for drivers who rely on STOP24 every day.
Car Park and Corridor Walkway Works
To improve access and connectivity across the site, we carried out car park to corridor walkway works, enhancing the flow between key areas of the service station and ensuring a safer, more user-friendly experience for both staff and visitors.
Main Sitting Area Decorations
Our finishing team also delivered decorations to the main sitting area, refreshing the space with new finishes that provide a welcoming and modern aesthetic.
Shearings Travel and McDonald’s Construction
In addition to refurbishments, Ilex Group constructed new front of house and backroom offices for Shearings Travel, as well as the McDonald’s Drive Through facility. Our scope also included the reconfiguration of the car park to accommodate the new drive-through layout, ensuring smooth traffic management and efficient service operation.
